Affirmations

jess writing affirmations

Affirming others is not a one-time act. It requires consistent effort in seeing beauty in others despite their flaws/your feelings about them.

Someone I know, despite having (I feel) a critical disposition, keeps a book recording the good traits he see in his students. Maybe keeping such a book will help us love others when it gets hard. It’ll help us focus on the sun hidden by dark clouds on rainy days, or the silver lining in every cloud, whichever way you put it.
